Williams, 29, was drafted by the Steelers in 2013 in the seventh round out of Samford. He signed a four-year contract, but was waived at the end of the preseason. He spent the next season bouncing between the Steelers and Redskins’ practice squad before signing with the Chiefs in 2014.
Williams re-signed with the Chiefs as an exclusive rights free agent in 2016. He was waived in October of that year and claimed by the Dolphins. The Dolphins released him in 2017 and he signed with the Bears for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Williams appeared in two games for the Bears and recorded two total tackles.
