The Chicago Bears officially re-signed OLB Sam Acho to a contract on Monday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
- The Bears also placed Cornelius Washington on season-ending injured reserve.
Acho, 27, was released just a few days ago from the non-football illness list, which allowed the Bears to promote LB Lamin Barrow off of their practice squad.
In 2014, Acho appeared in all 16 games for Arizona and recorded 31 tackles, one sack, an interception and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 28 outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense out of 46 qualifying players.
