Caldwell, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Northwest Missouri State back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Bears.
Unfortunately, Kansas City cut Caldwell loose last week.
During his final year at Northwest Missouri State, Caldwell rushed for 830 yards on 139 attempts (6 YPC) to go along with 13 receptions for 55 yards and 13 total touchdowns.
