Bears Sign Three Players & Release Two Including Former 4th Rd Pick Khaseem Greene

The Chicago Bears announced a number of roster moves on Monday including the release of LB Khaseem Greene and DE Austin Lane.

Chicago signed QB Pat Devlin, LB Kyle Woestmann and DT Terry Williams.

Greene, 26, still had two years remaining on his four-year, $2.592 million rookie contract and would have made base salaries of $585,000 and $675,000 over the final two years.

In 2014, Greene appeared in 10 games for the Bears and recorded 17 tackles.

Delvin, 27, signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Delaware back in 2011. He served as the Dolphins’ third-string quarterback last season, backing up Ryan Tannehill and Matt Moore.

The Vikings added Devlin to their practice squad last year before later signing him to a future/reserve contract. However, Minnesota waived a little over a month ago.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
