Bears Tried Out Four Players

According to Aaron Wilson, the Bears brought in four players for workouts on Tuesday, including DT Stacy McGee. 

The full list of tryouts includes:

1. DT Jay Bromley
2. DT Stacy McGee
3. DT Sylvester Williams
4. DE Brent Urban

Of this group, Chicago signed Urban to their active roster. The Los Angeles Chargers also wound up signing Williams on Tuesday. (NFLTR)

McGee, 29, is a former sixth-round pick by the Raiders in the 2013 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year, $2,238,680 rookie contract with Oakland before signing a five-year, $25 million contract with the Redskins in 2017.

McGee was set to make a base salary of $3.75 million for the 2019 season when Washington cut him loose in March. 

In 2018, McGee appeared in eight games for the Redskins and recorded nine tackles and a sack.
