The Chicago Bears announced Sunday that they’ve waived RB Napoleon Maxwell and have activated RB Artavis Pierce from the COVID-19 list.

Maxwell wound up going undrafted out of Florida International this past April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Bears.
During his college career at FIU, Maxwell rushed for 2,090 yards on 392 carries to go along with 30 receptions for 233 yards receiving and 23 total touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 45 games. He also totaled 296 kick return yards.
