The Chicago Bears announced Thursday that they’ve waived three players including OL Dejon Allen, OL Willie Beavers and WR Cyril Grayson.
Beavers, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the team but wound up being among their final roster cuts a few months later.
Beavers was on and off of the Vikings’ practice squad and had a brief stint with the Seahawks before the Bears signed him to their practice squad last season. Chicago brought him back on a futures contract this past January.
In 2016, Beavers was active for two games while playing for the Vikings.
During his college career at Western Michigan, Beavers was a three-year starter and a first-team All-MAC as a senior.
