Albert Breer reports that the Chicago Bears brought in six free agents for tryouts on Thursday.
The list tryouts include:
- DT Terry Beckner
- DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun
- DT Jay Bromley
- DT Nazair Jones
- DB Brandon Williams
- DB Howard Wilson
Boddy-Calhoun, 27, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2016. He was waived a few months later and claimed off of waivers by the Browns.
After being declined a restricted contract by Cleveland, he signed a one-year deal with the Texans in 2019 but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Texans later re-signed him, before cutting him once again. He then signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
In 2019, Boddy-Calhoun appeared in one game for Houston and two games for Indianapolis. He recorded thirteen tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble.
