The Cincinnati Bengals announced Thursday that they’ve signed DE Anthony Zettel to a contract.

Zettel recently tried out for the Bengals earlier in the week, so it appears as though he was impressive enough to secure a contract from the team.
Zettel, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2016. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $2.463 million rookie contract when Detroit cut him loose at the start of the 2018 season.
The Browns quickly claimed him off waivers where he finished out the year. He was among Cleveland’s final roster cuts this preseason.
In 2018, Zettel appeared 15 games for the Browns and recorded 14 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and no sacks.
