Bengals Waiving RB Samaje Perine

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Bengals are waiving RB Samaje Perine on Thursday. 

Perine, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Redskins back in 2017. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.05 million rookie contract with the Redskins waived him coming out of the preseason.

The Bengals later claimed Perine off of waivers. He stands to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2019, Perine has appeared in six games for the Bengals, but has yet to receive a carry.
