Bills Exercise CB Tre’Davious White’s Fifth-Year Option

Field Yates reports that the Bills have activated CB Tre’Davious White‘s fifth-year option for the 2021 season.

It was an easy decision for Buffalo given White was named a first-team All-Pro last season.

White, 25, is a former first-round pick by the Bills in the 2017 NFL Draft out of LSU. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $10,091,110 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $1,841,060 in 2020.

In 2019, White appeared in 15 games and recorded 58 total tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, six interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 17 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 18 overall cornerback out of 112 qualifying players.
