Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent RB Chris Ivory visited the Bills on Monday and has “considerable interest” from NFL teams.
The expectation is that Ivory will take more visits in the coming days.
Ivory, 29, originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent back in 2010. He spent three years in New Orleans before he was traded to the Jets for a fourth-round pick.
Ivory signed a five-year, $32 million contract that included $10 million guaranteed with the Jaguars back in 2016. He was set to make base salaries of $5.5 million and $6.75 million over the final two years of the agreement when the Jaguars released him last week in a move that freed up $3,687,500 of available cap space.
In 2017, Ivory appeared in 14 games for the Jaguars and rushed for 382 yards on 112 carries (3.4 YPC) to go along with 21 receptions for 175 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.
