Bills Place LB Matt Milano & CB Taron Johnson On Injured Reserve

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve placed CB Taron Johnson and LB Matt Milano on injured reserve.

On Monday, Bills HC Sean McDermott announced that Milano was out for the year with a fractured fibula so this move was expected.

Milano, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Bills back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.66 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $645,000 and $735,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Milano appeared in 13 games for the Bills and recorded 78 tackles, a sack, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and seven pass defenses.
