Bills Re-Sign WR/KR Brandon Tate

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday that they’ve re-signed WR/KR Brandon Tate to a new contract.

Tate, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2009. He lasted just over three years in New England before he was later cut and claimed off of waivers by the Bengals.

Tate re-signed with the Bengals back in March of last year but was, unfortunately, cut loose during the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players. The Bills later signed him to a one-year deal at the start of the regular season.

In 2016, Tate appeared in 15 games for the Bills and caught eight passes for 117 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He added 38 rushing yards to go along with 662 kick return yards and another 301 punt return yards for the Bills.
