Bills Trying Out 7 Players Including WR Kain Colter

Joe Buscaglia reports that former Rams WR Kain Colter is one of seven players trying out for the Bills during their minicamp.

• Mike Rodak adds that the other players trying out for the team include: CB Lee Hightower, CB LaMarcus Farmer, OL Ryan Schmidt, G Jacob Schunke, G Andrew Zeller and OT Justin Renfrow.

Colter, 23, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few months in Minnesota before he was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Vikings did, however, sign him to their practice squad and later brought him back on a future/reserve contract at the end of the year. However, he was waived shortly after last year’s NFL draft.

The Rams elected to sign him to a contract in February. However, he was unfortunately waived last week.

Colter has yet to appear in an NFL game.
