Giants RB Brandon Jacobs mentioned that he intends on seeking a better oppurtunity outside of New York once his contract is upduring a recent interview with Men’s Fitness magazine.
“I just can’t wait to get a true opportunity to get out there and show myself again,” said Jacobs. “Next year, hopefully. This is a business and you have to look at it that way. … It’s going to have to be for another team, but it is what it is. It comes with the territory.”
By then Jacobs will be 29 and it seems fairly likely that the Giants will be willing to part ways with him considering he’s yet to live up to the expectations that had been set for him. At this point Ahmad Bradshaw has far surpassed him as the teams featured running back.
