Pro Football Talk reports that Brian Cushing’s MRI did in fact reveal that he suffered a torn ACL and consequently is out for the season.
Terrible news for one of the league’s best defenses.

Pro Football Talk reports that the Houston Texans are concerned that ILB Brian Cushing suffered a torn ACL during Monday night’s game.
Cushing was chop blocked by Jets guard Matt Slauson during the second quarter. He’ll undergo an MRI later today, but there has already been rumors that he does in fact have an ACL tear circulating, so it seems fairly likely that he’ll be out for an extended period of time. Tim Dobbins figures to be the next man up while Cushing is out.
