Greg Cosell of the NFL Films mentioned that he’s “not a big fan” of Arizona State QB Brock Osweiler and went as far to compare him to Charlie Whitehurst.
“I thought he did not drive the ball,” Cosell said. “I even made a note that he did not have a strong arm, that he needed functional space. I didn’t think he was highly accurate. … I wasn’t a big fan.”
Some scouts believe that Brock Osweiler is the third-best quarterback prospect in this year’s draft class so it’s interesting to read Cosell’s opinion of him. We have him going to the Eagles in in the second-round of our most recent 2012 NFL Mock Draft.

Definitely a boom or bust prospect. I’m not a Broncos fan, but I’d love to see them take him in the 2nd round and let him set behind Peyton. Manning could be playing for another 2-5 years and whenever he retires, Oswelier could pay dividends.
But the Eagles aren’t a bad choice either.
