NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora reports that the Denver Broncos have reached an agreement with former Colts TE Jacob Tamme. La Canfora mentions that Tamme will receive a three-year contract worth $9 million and includes $3.5 million in guarantees.
The Broncos were reportedly fending off the Seahawks who were trying to find a replacement for John Carlson who left for the Vikings.
Peyton Manning will now have at least one of his former players in Denver. Tamme is another solid tight end that has proven to be an effective weapon in the passing game. We had him listed as the #33 best available free agent in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
