Albert Breer reports that the Broncos have claimed QB Kevin Hogan off of waivers from the Redskins on Sunday.
Hogan, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason and was later signed to the Browns’ practice squad before being called up a few months into the 2016 season.
Back in April, Browns traded Hogan and a 2018 sixth-round pick to the Redskins in exchange for a 2018 sixth-round pick.
In 2017, Hogan appeared in four games and thrown for 517 yards while completing 61.3 percent of his passes to go along with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
