Mike Klis reports that the Broncos are promoting OT Jake Rodgers to their active roster and placing RB LeVante Bellamy on injured reserve with a knee injury he suffered in practice this week.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list after just three games.
Bellamy, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Western Michigan back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Broncos, but was waived coming out of training camp.
The Broncos later added Bellamy to their practice squad and later added him to their active roster.
In 2020, Bellamy has appeared in three games for the Broncos but has yet to register a stat.
