The Denver Broncos officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent OT Jake Rodgers on Thursday to a one-year deal for the 2020 season, according to Aaron Wilson.
Exclusive rights contracts are one-year contracts worth the minimum salary based on the number of years a player has accrued.
Rodgers, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in May of 2015. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad at the start of the 2015 season.
Since then, Rodgers played for a number of teams including the Panthers, Steelers, Chargers, Texans and Ravens before signing on with the Broncos in April of last year.
In 2019, Rodgers appeared in 14 games for the Broncos and make one start for them.
