Broncos Signing WR Steven Dunbar

According to Mike Klis, the Broncos are signing WR Steven Dunbar to their 90-man roster ahead of the start of camp.

Dunbar replaces the retired and waived WR Aaron Burbridge

Dunbar, 23, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Houston in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the 49ers but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The 49ers re-signed Dunbar to their practice squad soon after. He was promoted to the active roster in December and appeared in one game, but did not record a stat.

The 49ers waived Dunbar in April following the draft.

During his college career at Houston, Dunbar caught 180 passes for 2,430 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns over the course of four seasons and 43 games.
