Broncos Worked Out Former Giants WR Travis Rudolph

According to Nicki Jhabvala, the Broncos also worked out former Giants WR Travis Rudolph before signing WR Jamarius Way to a contract on Saturday.

The Broncos were looking to add a receiver after two elected to retire from the NFL last week.

Rudolph, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in 2017. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Giants cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

New York later signed Rudolph to their practice squad before eventually promoting him to their active roster. Unfortunately, New York waived him at the start of the 2018 regular season and he later caught on with the Dolphins.

Rudolph’s 2018 season ended with him being placed on the practice squad injured list.

In 2017, Rudolph appeared in seven games for the Giants and caught eight passes for 101 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
