Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that the Broncos will bring in Miami QB Stephen Morris and Ole Miss WR Donte Moncrief for workouts in the near future.
It’s interesting to see that the Broncos are considering their options at these positions as they have plenty of depth at receiver and have already drafted a few young quarterbacks in Brock Osweiler and Zac Dysert.
Moncrief figures to be in the discussion to come off the board in round two, but the Broncos would probably be wise to use that pick on a different position all together.
Last year, Moncrief appeared in 13 games and caught 63 passes for 959 yards receiving and eight touchdowns.
Morris completed 57.6 percent of his passes for 3,028 yards to go along with 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
