The Cleveland Browns announced that they have signed three of their draft picks including fourth-round CB Howard Wilson, fifth-round OL Roderick Johnson, and seventh-round RB Matthew Dayes.
Wilson, 21, was selected with the No. 126 overall pick after the Browns elected to trade up to draft him. In total, Cleveland gave up two fifth-round picks in this year’s draft for the right to select Wilson.
During his three years at Houston, Wilson recorded 107 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, nine interceptions, 15 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries and one defensive touchdown.ย Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 20 cornerback prospect and No. 133 overall.
