Browns Sign DB Darius Hillary & WR Jordan Leslie To Practice Squad

The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve signed DB Darius Hillary and WR Jordan Leslie to their practice squad on Tuesday and waived TE E.J. Bibbs from the unit.

The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Mike Liedtke
  2. OL Dan France
  3. CB Trey Caldwell
  4. LB Scooby Wright
  5. RB Terrell Watson
  6. WR Josh Boyce
  7. DB Darius Hillary
  8. WR Jordan Leslie
  9. WR Mitch Mathews
  10. C Anthony Fabiano

Hillary, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin back in May. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to their practice squad.

Cincinnati elected to cut him loose a few weeks ago.

Hillary has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Leslie, 24, originally signed on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was among the Vikings’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Jaguars’ practice squad during the season.

The Falcons elected to sign Leslie to a future/reserve contract this past January but he was once again among the final roster cuts. Leslie later signed on to the Titans’ practice squad only to be waived a few weeks later.

Leslie has yet to a appear in an NFL game.
