The Cleveland Browns announced Friday that they’ve signed QB Eric Dungey to their practice squad and placed WR Derrick Willies on the practice squad injured list.
Here’s the Browns updated practice squad:
- DT Brandin Bryant
- TE Stephen Carlson
- WR Shelton Gibson
- S J.T. Hassell
- WR Derrick Willies (Injured)
- C Willie Wright
- DB Tigie Sankoh (International)
- G Colby Gossett
- G Malcolm Pridgeon
- DB Donnie Lewis
- RB Elijah McGuire
- QB Eric Dungey
Dungey, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Syracuse back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Giants, but was waived a few months later.
Dungey was injured during OTA’s, which hurt his already slim chances of making the roster.
During his college career at Syracuse, Dungey threw for 9,340 yards while completing 61.5 percent of his passes to go along with 58 touchdowns and 30 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 39 games. He also rushed for 1,993 yards and 35 touchdowns.
