According to Field Yates, the Browns have waived LB Malik Jefferson from the active roster on Tuesday.
The Browns claimed Jefferson earlier this year off waivers from the division-rival Bengals.
Jefferson, 22, is a former third-round pick by the Bengals back in 2017. He agreed to a four-year, $3,383,728 contract that includes a $923,728 signing bonus.
In 2019, Jefferson has appeared in nine games for the Browns and recorded one tackle.
During his three-year college career at Texas, Jefferson recorded 231 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, five pass defenses, one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.
