Browns Waived RB Brandon Wilds From Injured Reserve

The Cleveland Browns officially waived RB Brandon Wilds from their injured reserve list with a settlement.

Wilds, 24, wound up signing on with the Falcons as undrafted free agent out of South Carolina back in May of last year. He was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and the Falcons eventually cut him from injured reserve with a settlement.

The Jets later signed him to their practice squad and he finished out the year in New York. The Jets decided to waive him but he was quickly claimed off waivers by the Browns.

In 2016, Wilds appeared in four games and rushed for 27 yards on 10 carries to go along with two receptions for 20 yards receiving and no touchdowns.

During his college career at South Carolina, Wilds ran for 1,844 yards on 379 career carries (4.87 YPC) and 13 touchdowns to go along with 59 receptions.
