Browns WR Rannell Hall Out For Season With Fractured Fibula

Browns HC Hue Jackson announced Saturday afternoon that WR Rannell Hall is out for year with a fractured fibula that he sustained during Friday’s preseason loss to the Packers.

The Browns will likely place him on season-ending injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Hall, 23, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but spent his rookie year on and off of the Bucs’ practice squad.

The Browns elected to sign him to their active roster from the Bucs’ taxi squad in December.

In 2015, Hall appeared in one game, but did no record a single statistic.
