Buccaneers Place DT Clinton McDonald On Season-Ending I.R.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DT Clinton McDonald on season-ending injured reserve with a pectoral injury.

  • The Buccaneers also released LB Julian Stanford from their practice squad.

McDonald, 28, is in the second year of his four-year, $12 million contract that included $4.75 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $3.25 million (2015), $2.75 million (2016) and $2 million (2017) over the remainder of the agreement.

His 2015 season ends with him appearing in six games and recording 31 tackles and no sacks for the Buccaneers.
