The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed OL Evan Smith and RB Shaun Wilson on injured reserve Tuesday and re-signed LB Kevin Minter.
- The Buccaneers also promoted RB Dare Ogunbowale from the practice squad.
Smith, 32, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent back in 2009. After four years in Green Bay, Smith signed a four-year, $14.25 million contract with the Buccaneers back in 2014.
Smith played out the final year of his contract before returning to Tampa Bay this past March on aย two-year, $6 million deal.
In 2018, Smith appeared in seven games for the Buccaneers.
Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.
The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.ย Minter later had a brief stint with the Buccaneers.
In 2018, Minter has appeared in one gameย for the Buccaneers and one tackle.
