Greg Auman reports that the Buccaneers are signing veteran LBย Kevin Minter to a contract on Tuesday after he worked out for the team.
- The Buccaneers confirmed the news and announced the signing ofย CB De’Vante Harris and the release of CB Javien Elliott.
This comes just aย day after the news that the Buccaneers have lost LBsย Kwon Alexander and Jack Cichy for the season with torn ACLs.
Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.
The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
In 2017, Minter appeared nine games for the Bengals and recorded 32 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
