Buccaneers Sign LB Kevin Minter & CB De’Vante Harris, Waive CB Javien Elliott

Greg Auman reports that the Buccaneers are signing veteran LB Kevin Minter to a contract on Tuesday after he worked out for the team.

This comes just a day after the news that the Buccaneers have lost LBs Kwon Alexander and Jack Cichy for the season with torn ACLs.

Minter, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. He played out his four-year, $4,390,288 contract with the Cardinals before signing a one-year, $4.25 million contract with the Bengals last March.

The Jets signed Minter to a contract in April only to release him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

In 2017, Minter appeared nine games for the Bengals and recorded 32 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
