According to Tom Pelissero, the Cardinals are bringing in undrafted rookie QB Kelly Bryant for a workout.
After the NFL relaxed its policy on tryouts during the pandemic, this allowed Arizona to bring in Bryant for a tryout.
Bryant, 23, was not drafted following this past April’s draft and was somewhat surprisingly not signed by any team.
After transferring from Clemson after being beaten out for the starting job, Bryant was the starting quarterback for Missouri this past season.
During his five-year college career, Bryant completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 5,553 yards (7.3 YPA), 31 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He also rushed for 1,215 yards and 17 touchdowns on 363 carries.
