The Arizona Cardinals announced Saturday that they’ve signed K Matt McCrane to a contract and promoted DE Vontarrius Dora to their active roster.
McCrane, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Cardinals and was set to make a base salary of $485,000 for the 2018 season when he was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Raiders signed him to a contract a few weeks ago, but elected to cut him loose earlier in the week. He later had a brief stint with the Cardinals.
In 2018, McCrane has appeared in three games for the Raiders and converted 5 of 9 field goal attempts (55.6 percent) to go along with all five extra point tries.
