The Arizona Cardinals announced they signed P Tyler Newsome to a contract on Tuesday.

Newsome, 25, signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He spent training camp with Los Angeles but did not make the final roster and was cut before the season began.
The Chiefs signed Newsome to a one-year deal last offseason, but they released him before the start of training camp.
Newsome has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his four-year college career at Notre Dame, Newsome totaled 9,909 punt yards on 225 attempts (44 YPA) over the course of 50 games.
