Gowan, 23, was a junior college transfer who started one season at UCF before opting out of the 2020 season due to the pandemic. The Cardinals took Gowan with pick No. 223 overall.
Gowan is expected to sign a four-year deal worth $3,610,707 million guaranteed with a $130,707 signing bonus.
In 2019, Gowan recorded 31 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses in 12 games.
Travis, 27, signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Chiefs as an UDFA out of Penn State back in 2015. He spent over four years in Kansas City before he was later claimed off of waivers by the Colts.
Travis spent the 2018 season on injured reserve with a knee injury. He returned to Indianapolis on a one-year deal last year but was eventually cut loose towards the end of the season.
The Jets claimed Travis off waivers in December of 2019. He spent 2020 bouncing between the Jets’ practice squad and active roster before becoming a free agent this offseason.
In 2020, Travis appeared in one game for the Jets but did not record a catch.
