The Chargers placed Pipkins on the COVID-19 list on Friday after coming into close contact with OL Ryan Groy, meaning he quickly tested negative for the virus.
Pipkins, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Chargers back in 2019 out of Sioux Falls. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $3,397,072 rookie contract including an $877,072 signing bonus.
In 2020, Pipkins has appeared in six games for the Chargers, making three starts for them.
