Chargers Fire OC Frank Reich & Five Position Coaches

Michael Gehlken is reporting that the Chargers have begun making changes to their coaching staff by firing OC Frank Reich.

• Gehlken reports that the Chargers have also fired five position coaches including: OL Joe D’Alessandris, TE Pete Metzelaars, WRs Fred Graves, DL Don Johnson, and OL asst. Andrew Dees.

Previous reports have said that HC Mike McCoy was going to have to make changes to his staff in order to return for the 2016, but it is interesting that Reich is out in San Diego.

Last year, Reich actually found interest as a head-coaching candidate, but the results from this past season were disappointing in terms of their rushing attack and points-per game.

The Chargers ranked No. 31 in rushing and No. 26 in points-per-game.
