San Diego Chargers QB Charlie Whitehurst suffered a left knee injury yesterday, which has the team considering some potential replacements options, according to the Union-Tribune San Diego.
Long-time Chargers backup, Billy Volek, is currently available so he would certainly make a lot of sense. San Diego still has undrafted rookie Jarrett Lee on their roster, but it makes more sense to go with someone with some NFL experience.
