Chargers Re-Sign ERFA DE Isaac Rochell & OT Trenton Scott

The Los Angeles Chargers officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent DE Isaac Rochell and OT Trenton Scott to one-year contracts for the 2020 season.

Exclusive rights contracts are one-year contracts worth the minimum salary based on the number of years a player has accrued.

Rochell, 24, was taken in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Chargers. He was in the first year of his rookie contract when Los Angeles elected to cut him loose at the start of the 2017 season.

The Chargers re-signed Rochell to their practice squad before eventually calling him up toward the end of the 2017 season. He returned to Los Angeles on an exclusive rights deal last year.

In 2019, Rochell appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and recorded 10 tackles, a sack and a pass defended.
