Chargers Re-Sign ERFA TE Sean McGrath

The Los Angeles Chargers officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent TE Sean McGrath on Thursday.

McGrath, 29, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Henderson State back in 2012. He spent over a year in Seattle before later being claimed off of waivers by the Chiefs.

Last year, McGrath made the decision to retire from the NFL, but changed his mind a few months later after being cut by Kansas City. McGrath caught on with the Colts during the 2015 season before eventually signing with the Chargers and returning for the 2016 season.

In 2016, McGrath appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and caught two passes for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
