Chargers Re-Sign TE Braedon Bowman To Practice Squad, Release OT Jake Rodgers

The Los Angeles Chargers officially re-signed TE Braedon Bowman to their practice squad on Friday and released OT Jake Rodgers from the unit.

The Chargers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. G Brett Boyko
  2. WR Andre Patton
  3. WR Artavis Scott
  4. DB Craig Mager
  5. DB Jeff Richards
  6. DE Isaac Rochell
  7. DB A.J. Hendy
  8. DE Whitney Richardson
  9. C Cole Toner
  10. TE Braedon Bowman

Rodgers, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Falcons back in May of 2015. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad at the start of the 2015 season.

After a few years with the Giants, Rodgers signed on with the Steelers this past May. He has been on and off of the Steelers’ practice squad the past few months before signing on with the Chargers a few days.

Rodgers has yet to appear in an NFL game.
