Chargers Release DB Quenton Meeks From Practice Squad

The Los Angeles Chargers officially released DB Quenton Meeks from their practice squad on Thursday.

Here’s the Chargers updated practice squad:

  2. DB John Brannon
  3. LB Cole Christiansen
  4. WR Jeff Cotton
  5. NT Breiden Fehoko
  6. G Nathan Gillian
  7. DT T.J. Smith (Injured)
  8. DB Donte Vaughn
  9. DE Joe Gaziano
  10. LB B.J. Bello
  11. G Ryan Hunter
  12. WR Jason Moore
  13. TE Matt Sokol
  14. DB Jaylen Watkins
  15. RB Derrick Gore
  16. WR John Hurst

Meeks, 23, wound up going undrafted out o Stanford back in 2018. He later signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Jaguars but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Meeks signed on to the Jaguars’ practice squad to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed. He joined the Chargers last year and returned to Los Angeles on a futures contract. 

Since then, he’s been on and off of their roster. 

In 2020, Meeks has been active for two games, but has yet to record a statistic.
