Chargers Release RB Derrick Gore From PS, Sign K JJ Molson

     

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Friday that they’ve signed K JJ Molson to their practice squad and released RB Derrick Gore from the unit. 

Here’s the Chargers updated practice squad:

  18. K JJ Molson

Gore, 25, signed with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Monroe in 2019. He was waived coming out of the preseason and briefly re-signed to the Chargers’ practice squad before being cut again. 

Washington signed Gore to their practice squad and he finished out the year in Washington. He returned to the Cahiers this past May before being added to the practice squad. 

In four preseason games with the Chargers, Gore ran for 64 yards and a touchdown on 12 attempts (5.3 YPC), caught one pass for eight yards and returned a kickoff 13 yards.
