The Los Angeles Chargers have officially signed first-round QB Justin Herbert to his rookie contract, according to Ian Rapoport.

Herbert, 22, was a four-year starter at Oregon. The Chargers used the No. 6 overall pick in this year’s draft on him.
Herbert is projected to sign a four-year, $26,578,754 rookie contract that includes a $16,890,003 signing bonus. The contract includes a fifth-year for the Chargers to pick up for the 2024 season.
During his four-year college career, Herbert recorded 827 completions on 1,293 pass attempts (64 percent) for 10,541 yards, 95 touchdowns, and 23 interceptions to go along with 231 rushing attempts for 560 yards (2.4 YPC) and 13 touchdowns.
