Chargers Sign Five Draft Picks Including Second-Round LB Uchenna Nwosu

The Los Angeles Chargers announced Friday that they’ve officially signed five draft picks including LB Uchenna Nwosu, LB Kyzir White, G/C Scott Quessenberry, WR Dylan Cantrell and RB Justin Jackson to four-year contracts.

This leaves just two unsigned members of their 2018 draft class including first-round S Derwin James.

Nwosu, 21, was selected with the No. 48 overall pick in the second round of this year’s draft by the Chargers. According to OverTheCap.com, he receives a four-year, $5,759,578 contract that includes a $2,268,784 signing bonus.

During his four-year college career at USC, Nwosu recorded 169 tackles, 20.5 tackles for a loss, 12.5 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, a recovery and 19 pass defenses.
