Cowboys practice squad WR Simi Fehoko says the Chargers are signing him to their active roster.
This makes sense given Los Angeles lost WR Mike Williams for the year on Sunday. Fehoko went to college on the west coast and is the type of big-bodied wideout the Chargers have gravitated toward.
Fehoko, 25, was drafted by the Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Stanford. He was entering the third year of a four-year, $3.72 million rookie contract when Dallas waived him coming out of the preseason.
He caught on with the Steelers practice squad.
In 2022, Fehoko appeared in five games for the Cowboys and caught three passes on four targets for 24 yards.
